Taalcafé Noord brings together native Dutch speakers and learners in a relaxed, informal setting. We meet after working hours, and practice Dutch while sharing dinner.

Who is it for
Anyone who can hold a short conversation in Dutch (A1+) is welcome. Native speakers are very welcome! You don't need to teach or explain grammar, just show up and be patient!

How does it work
Each session includes one hour of conversation in small groups: one or two learners paired with one native speaker. Ice breakers and conversation topics are provided, but you're free to talk about whatever comes naturally.
To keep the groups balanced, you'll first join a waiting list. Once we can pair you with a partner, we'll confirm your spot.

How much does it cost
We apply a "pay what you can"  method. Every contribution is welcome!  If you want to join  but it is not a good moment for expenses, no worries - we want the taalcafé to be accessible to everyone.
